3 Overzealous Seahawks Fans Arrested After Incident That Left Kenneth Walker III With Minor Injury
SEATTLE — What began as a celebratory afternoon in downtown Seattle quickly turned into concern Tuesday when three overzealous fans were arrested following an incident involving Seahawks MVP Kenneth Walker III.

According to Seattle Police, the three suspects — identified as Tyler J., 27; Marcus R., 24; and Ethan C., 22, all local residents — breached a secured perimeter during a public team appearance tied to the Super Bowl LX championship festivities. Witnesses said the group pushed through temporary barricades in an attempt to reach players as the team exited the main stage area.

In the brief chaos that followed, Walker was jostled while security personnel intervened. The star running back sustained what team officials described as a “minor upper-body injury.” He was evaluated on-site by medical staff before being escorted away under the protection of teammates and security.
“Ken is doing fine,” a Seahawks spokesperson said. “He experienced minor contact during an unauthorized fan interaction. Out of an abundance of caution, our medical team evaluated him immediately. We appreciate the swift response from security and law enforcement.”
The three suspects were detained at the scene and later taken into custody by police. Authorities indicated they could face charges including trespassing and reckless endangerment.
Walker, who delivered a breakout season and played a pivotal role in Seattle’s championship run, has become one of the most beloved figures in the city. News of the incident spread quickly on social media, where fans expressed anger and described the behavior as “irresponsible” and “damaging to the community’s image.”
“We celebrate hard,” one fan wrote, “but we never put our players at risk. That’s not the spirit of the 12s.”
Head coach Pete Carroll also emphasized respect and safety.
“Passion is great,” Carroll said. “But respect and boundaries always come first.”
Team sources indicate Walker is expected to make a full recovery with no long-term concerns.
Still, the moment served as a reminder that even during celebration, safety must remain the priority. For a city proud of its unity and Seahawks culture, the actions of a few sparked outrage — and reinforced that protecting players is always the top priority.
