Authorities Take All Three Suspects Into Custody in Packers Stadium Vandalism Case
February 24, 2026
Green Bay, WI — Authorities have taken all three individuals connected to the vandalism incident at Lambeau Field into custody, marking a significant breakthrough in the investigation that temporarily disrupted operations at one of the NFL’s most iconic venues.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that longtime stadium contractors Daniel Ruiz (29), Marcus Hill (36), and Anthony Carter (42) were taken into custody following an internal investigation and questioning.
Investigators say Daniel Ruiz is believed to have played a leading role in the incident.
Authorities noted that what initially appeared to be a harmless prank allegedly escalated into more serious actions that resulted in damage inside restricted areas of the stadium. The investigation remains ongoing.
The vandalism, described by officials as explicit and inappropriate, was discovered across multiple restricted sections of the facility, including locker room areas and premium hospitality suites that require authorized access. The breach has raised serious concerns about internal security protocols.
Stadium operations were partially paused for several days while crews assessed the damage, which included markings on interior surfaces that may require costly restoration.
Packers officials have since confirmed that repairs are underway and that the stadium remains fully operational ahead of offseason programs and upcoming events.
Authorities previously offered a financial reward for information leading to those responsible, though it remains unclear whether public tips played a role in the arrests.
Law enforcement emphasized that accountability remains the top priority as the case moves forward, adding that enhanced oversight and strengthened security measures are being implemented to prevent similar incidents.
Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers and one of the most historic venues in professional football, continues to host offseason activities as scheduled.
Investigators say additional details regarding formal charges and court proceedings will be released as the legal process progresses.
