Bills Owner Terry Pegula Submits Plan for ADPRO Sports Center Expansion, Governor Kathy Hochul’s Reaction Leaves Bills Community Disappointed.
Buffalo, NY – Terry Pegula, owner of the Buffalo Bills, has submitted a plan to expand the ADPRO Sports Center in Buffalo, New York, in March 2026.

The expansion will add 90,000 square feet of office and training space, improving the facilities for both the football operations and the business side of the team.
The number of parking spaces will also increase from 400 to 600 to meet the growing demands of the staff and the team.
Expanding the ADPRO Sports Center is seen as an essential move for the team’s development and to strengthen the Bills' competitive edge.
However, this plan has faced opposition from Governor Kathy Hochul, causing disappointment in the Bills’ fan community.

Terry Pegula shared: "We are committed to investing in the community and the people of this city. This new project will create many jobs and help many people. But perhaps, we will have to wait for the state to approve this plan before we can move forward."
The plan was submitted in late 2025. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2026 and finish by the fall of 2029.
However, Governor Kathy Hochul’s response has left the Bills' community disappointed. She raised concerns about the cost and practicality of the project.
Hochul is concerned that investing heavily in sports infrastructure, while lacking options for other critical projects, may not be a wise approach.
“The community needs clarity from the new owners about the future of the team,” Hochul shared regarding her concerns about the plan.
The governor's response has frustrated Bills fans. They feel rejecting the expansion plan is unfair to the team, especially considering the potential benefits to the community.
While expanding the ADPRO Sports Center is necessary for maintaining the team’s competitiveness, Hochul’s reaction has caused some uncertainty in the Bills' community.
Bills fans are worried about the team’s future if there isn’t the right investment in infrastructure and development projects.
The ADPRO Sports Center is a vital part of the Bills' development, and this expansion will help the team continue to move forward.
With Hochul’s opposition, Bills fans will continue to monitor the situation and hope for a positive outcome for the team and the community.
They hope that these decisions will bring long-term growth and success to the Bills in the upcoming seasons.
