Former 5-Time Pro Bowl and 2-Time All-Pro Star Surprises by Purchasing $20 Million Property in Jacksonville – Fans Speculate He Has Reached Agreement with the Jaguars

Posted Feb 5, 2026

Jacksonville, Florida – February, 2026

In a surprising move that has sent shockwaves through the NFL community, Maxx Crosby, the five-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro defensive end, has reportedly purchased a $20 million property in Jacksonville. This high-profile real estate acquisition has ignited speculation that Crosby might be joining the Jacksonville Jaguars for the 2026 season.

The purchase, which was completed last week, involves a luxury residential building located just a few miles away from Everbank Field, the home stadium of the Jaguars. This real estate investment has led many fans and analysts to believe that Crosby is preparing to relocate to Jacksonville, and could signal a potential agreement between Crosby and the team.

"Looks like Maxx Crosby is settling in Jacksonville. Can't wait for that official announcement," one excited fan tweeted, reacting to the news of the purchase.

A Perfect Fit for the Jaguars’ Defense

Crosby, who played a pivotal role in the Las Vegas Raiders' defensive lineup in 2025, has been on the Jaguars' radar for quite some time. The team, in need of strengthening their pass rush, would greatly benefit from Crosby's explosive edge-rushing ability and his knack for disrupting opposing offenses. Crosby's impressive 2025 stats, which included 15 sacks and 22 quarterback hits, solidified his reputation as one of the most feared edge rushers in the NFL.

His addition would significantly bolster the Jaguars' defense, complementing the team's existing defensive stars and providing them with a dynamic pass-rusher capable of changing the course of the game.

Strategic Real Estate Move

The $20 million property Crosby has purchased stands as one of the most significant real estate transactions in Jacksonville this year. The luxury building, which features multiple high-end units, represents not only a personal investment for Crosby but also could be a sign of a long-term commitment to the city of Jacksonville. Fans have also noted the property’s proximity to TIAA Bank Field, further fueling the growing speculation that Crosby is set to join the Jaguars.

What This Means for the Jaguars

If the rumors prove true and Crosby has indeed reached a deal with the Jaguars, this acquisition would be a massive win for the team. Known for his relentless pass rush and leadership on the field, Crosby would make an immediate and significant impact on Jacksonville's defense. Adding a player of his caliber could be just what the Jaguars need to push toward a championship run in 2026.

While there has been no official confirmation yet, fans are eagerly awaiting news of Crosby’s potential move to Jacksonville. For now, his $20 million property purchase serves as an important clue in this growing offseason story.

Legend Tony Boselli Speaks Out Demanding NFL Reconsider 2026 NFL Honors After Two Jacksonville Jaguars Stars Are Excluded at the Last Minute
Jacksonville, Florida – The 2026 NFL Honors ceremony caused a shock when Jacksonville Jaguars fans were stunned by the exclusion of two of the team's biggest stars, Trevor Lawrence and Head Coach Liam Coen, from major award categories at the last minute. This decision has sparked outrage within the Jaguars community, and the team's legend, Tony Boselli, has spoken out strongly criticizing the decision. Boselli, a longtime supporter of his hometown team, didn't hesitate to criticize the NFL. The former Jaguars offensive lineman took to social media and gave an interview, demanding that the NFL reconsider its decision, calling the exclusion of Trevor Lawrence and Liam Coen "an insult" to the organization and its loyal fans. "The numbers don’t lie. They had an outstanding season that helped the team make an incredible turnaround compared to last year’s poor record. They transformed the team into a true championship contender. This isn’t just about stats, it’s about recognizing their effort and contribution to the team’s success." Boselli shared. Trevor Lawrence, a candidate for AP MVP and Comeback Player of the Year, led the NFL with 4,007 yards and 29 touchdown passes along with 9 rushing touchdowns, helping the Jaguars make an incredible turnaround from the previous season. Despite being one of the best players of the season, Lawrence didn’t win the deserved award. Head Coach Liam Coen, one of the top contenders for AP Coach of the Year, led the Jaguars to 9 wins in his first season. Coen's offensive line showed vast improvement, and his success propelled the Jaguars into one of the league’s top teams. However, Coen finished second, losing to Mike Vrabel by 19 votes. NFL’s response came swiftly, but it did little to lessen the disappointment of fans and players. According to the league, the voting process was based on "individual performance metrics," and "the final decision was made according to official criteria." However, this explanation did not calm the Jaguars community's anger, as fans and analysts questioned how such influential players could be overlooked. Boselli’s passionate call for change only fueled the fire, with fans rallying behind him, demanding more transparency from the NFL. As the wave of protest continues to grow, it’s clear that the exclusion of Lawrence and Coen left a significant mark on the 2026 NFL Honors, and the community’s disappointment will not subside anytime soon. While the Jaguars prepare for Super Bowl 60, it remains to be seen whether the NFL will reconsider its stance or whether these exclusions will only fuel the team’s championship aspirations. One thing is certain: Tony Boselli will not back down, and neither will the Jaguars' fans.
