While the Buffalo Bills missed out on clinching the AFC East title for the first time in six years, they still punched their ticket to the playoffs.
Led by Bills quarterback Josh Allen, the franchise is making their seventh consecutive playoff appearance. As the No. 6 seed, they’ll face the Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 3 seed) in the wild-card round on Sunday.
When Allen and Co. travel to EverBank Stadium to face Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars, fans hope to see the reigning MVP’s wife, Hailee Steinfeld, cheering him on.
After nearly two years of dating, Allen and Steinfeld tied the knot on May 31. Last month, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together. A run to the Super Bowl would provide a storybook ending for the Bills star’s incredibly exciting year.

However, it’s not just Allen who’s thriving professionally. With awards season in Hollywood heating up, Steinfeld is gaining recognition for work, as well.
Hailee Steinfeld Is Nominated for a Chicago Indie Critics Award

The Chicago Indie Critics announced their nominees for the 9th annual Windie Awards and Steinfeld scored a Best Supporting Actress nod for her role as Mary in the movie “Sinners.”
Fellow nominees in her category include her co-star Wunmi Mosaku, Teyana Taylor, Odessa A’zion, and Amy Madigan. The winners will be announced at a private members-only party in Chicago on January 15.
Steinfeld told Bustle that Allen gave her added confidence before taking on the part in the hit horror film.
“That inner peace that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life is indescribable. I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world.”
“Life makes sense. Everything makes sense,” she continued. “I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him… Timing is everything. Where I’m at professionally, mentally, emotionally — if this part had come into my life any sooner, I wouldn’t have been able to take it on.”

Allen, who signed a new six-year, $330 million contract with a record-breaking $250 million guaranteed before the season started, says his accomplishments on the field pale in comparison to marrying Steinfeld.
When asked what the most fulfilling part of his life, “My wife,” Allen said. “My wife is an unbelievable and undeniable rockstar in her work. In her life as a person — she’s everything I need in my life.”
The love and admiration are reciprocated. In an October interview with Variety, Steinfeld spoke about how her life changed after marrying the 29-year-old quarterback. “What we do is so unpredictable, and his job is on such a strict schedule,” Steinfeld said.
“So it’s actually a blessing — I try to organize my time so I can be where he is. This time of year, I get to hunker down, slow down, support him, and live life. When the offseason rolls around, it’s go-time for me.
“I’ve never lived this part of life before — outside of my work. I’ve gotten a lot better at understanding what it means to slow down and to share that with someone. That’s the greatest thing ever.”
