Right before kickoff against the Falcons at Gillette, Drake Maye moves Patriots Nation — not with a throw, but with a special gesture carrying a message honoring women that silences the entire NFL

Foxborough, Massachusetts – 2/11/2025

The atmosphere at Gillette Stadium is heating up by the minute, but in the final warm-up before kickoff, Drake Maye has captured every camera lens — not because of an accurate throw, but because of the white wristband on his left wrist, with a small handwritten line: “FOR HER 💜.”

According to a team insider, this is a special gesture by Maye to support the movement against gender-based violence and to protect women “End Violence. Respect Women”, a campaign the NFL is promoting in November – the month for raising awareness about equality and respect for gender.

As soon as the image of the wristband spread on social media, hashtags #ForHer and #InMayeWeTrust exploded. Thousands of Patriots fans reshared it with the caption: “He’s not just our QB, he’s our voice.”

Before the game, Maye shared a brief but deeply emotional statement when asked about the meaning of this gesture: “On my wristband, it’s usually tactics, things that help me remember the routes. But today, I want it to remind me of something more important — that we have a responsibility to protect and respect the women around us. They are mothers, sisters, partners, the reason we become better.”

He paused, looked down at his wrist, then continued: “I wear this line not to show off, but to remind myself. Every throw, every run, I want to remember that a man’s true strength is not in his muscles — but in how he chooses to use that strength to honor and protect the amazing women in his life. They are the reason we become better every day.”

Coach Mike Vrabel showed immense pride when talking about his pupil: “Drake is someone who understands the meaning of leading by example. A small gesture, but a big message. That’s the spirit of the Patriots.”

As the countdown clock shows only a few hours left until kickoff, the image of Drake Maye warming up in the blue-and-red jersey, wrist wrapped in a white band with the faint purple words “FOR HER 💜” has become the symbol of tonight.

No matter the game’s outcome, Maye has scored a perfect touchdown in the hearts of fans — not just as a talented quarterback, but as a man who chooses to use the field to say what is right.

Despite Trade Deadline Closing, Dolphins Pass Rusher Still Linked to 49ers – San Francisco Determined to Bring Pro Bowl Superstar to Levi’s Stadium for 2026 NFL Season
November 8, 2025 San Francisco, California – Though the NFL trade deadline has officially closed, inside sources say the San Francisco 49ers have not given up their ambition to recruit Bradley Chubb, the Pro Bowl-selected defensive star of the Miami Dolphins. After witnessing the defense suffer serious losses due to injuries, the team leadership has identified Chubb as the top target for the 2026 season to rebuild the defensive strength that has been the pride of Levi’s Stadium. According to sources from Bleacher Report, the 49ers once tried to pursue Chubb right before the trade deadline on November 4, but the transfer price was too high making the deal unable to complete. Nevertheless, with Chubb’s contract no longer financially guaranteed after the 2025 season, the opportunity for San Francisco to return to the negotiation table in the upcoming offseason is evaluated as very bright. Experts believe this could be the first big deal of John Lynch in the force rebuilding phase. “Bradley is the type of player every HC wants to have – strong, disciplined and always fighting to the last second,” HC Kyle Shanahan shared in a recent interview. “He can change the entire situation of a defensive line. Honestly, I’m very sorry that I couldn’t work with him this season. But I always believe that special players will find the way to the right place they belong.” After Nick Bosa and Mykel Williams both suffered anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, the lack of pressure from the outside wing has made the 49ers face many difficulties in maintaining defensive form. Meanwhile, Chubb is still proving his class in Miami with 25 tackles, 4 sacks and 5 forced fumbles in just the first nine weeks of the season – a form enough to make San Francisco see him as the perfect missing piece. If the deal becomes reality, Bradley Chubb will bring to the 49ers not only strength and experience, but also the fighting spirit that has been tested through many seasons in the AFC. With the long-term vision of John Lynch and the belief from Kyle Shanahan, San Francisco is showing real ambition – rebuilding the legendary “red wall” at Levi’s Stadium and ready to return to the position of top contender for Super Bowl 2026.
