BREAKING: Young Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold leaves all of Detroit stunned after being named in a shocking robbery case in Florida
According to released filings, three men — Boakai Hilton Jr., Lyndell Hudson and Christion Williams — were arrested in connection with a February 4 armed robbery at an apartment in Tampa. Prosecutors allege the incident may have been orchestrated on behalf of Arnold following a prior theft involving the Lions defender.

Court records state that Arnold’s rented Airbnb property in Largo, Florida, had previously been burglarized. Authorities say the stolen items included designer handbags, approximately $100,000 in cash, an $80,000 necklace and a league-issued NFL cell phone. The theft reportedly triggered suspicion and escalating tensions among those involved.
Prosecutors claim Hilton arranged the Tampa robbery as retaliation connected to the earlier burglary. The filing further alleges that Arnold suspected his personal driver may have been involved in the original theft. However, officials have emphasized that Arnold himself has not been formally charged in the current case.
Additional allegations in court documents suggest that Arnold’s girlfriend and an associate allegedly lured two individuals to the Tampa apartment, where armed suspects were waiting. The arrests that followed intensified scrutiny, though investigators have not announced any charges directly against the Lions cornerback.
In a brief response through representatives, Arnold maintained his position of non-involvement. “I have not been charged with any crime, and I am cooperating fully with authorities,” the statement read. “I trust the legal process and look forward to clearing my name.” The organization has declined extended comment pending further developments.
For the Lions, the situation presents uncertainty during a critical offseason. Arnold, a promising young defensive cornerstone, remains active on the roster as the legal process unfolds. While no formal charges have been filed against him, the unfolding investigation ensures that this story is far from over — and Detroit will be watching closely.
